What service are you best known for?
I’m best known for make up and lashes, although I also do waxing as well.
What’s your ultimate goal—and is it different from when you started?
My ultimate goal is to have my own space to provide mostly waxing and lash services, and travel to do weddings and fashion shows. My goal has pretty much stayed the same since I decided to go to school.
What was your favorite beauty or cosmetology magazine growing up?
My go-to’s were Elle magazine and Seventeen magazine.
If you could be featured in any magazine, which would it be?
It would be a dream come true to be featured in Vogue magazine.
What’s holding you back from your next goal?
The only things holding me back, are not having a space at the moment, so I’ve been doing home visits. And having a solid client base.
What’s the most difficult part of being a cosmetologist in your specialty?
Well, I’ve found that doing services such as lashes in particular, take a huge toll on my back, which is why it’s so important as a professional to make sure you take care of yourself too. I went for a massage recently, and didn’t realize just how bad I needed it.
