Where are you from and how does that influence your talent?
I’m originally from Harlem—140th Street to be exact—but I also live in Murray Hill, which has really shaped my perspective and my artistry. Being immersed in two very different environments has given me the unique ability to connect with people from all walks of life. It’s important to me that everyone feels seen and celebrated, which is why I call myself "the MUA for everyone." That mindset is the inspiration behind Face Gallery—just like in an art gallery, every face is a unique canvas, and my job is to create a masterpiece that brings out each client's beauty in their own way. Not every piece of art is the same but the artist knows how to create a masterpiece from every canvas. Different ethnicities bring different skin tones and textures, and knowing how to enhance each one with care and precision is what sets me apart since everyone’s skin will not hold makeup the same. My goal is always to make sure every person leaves my chair feeling confident and radiant with the look they envisioned.

What’s your proudest moment in cosmetology?
My proudest moment in cosmetology was stepping into the world of on-set glam and working with celebrities. I’m incredibly grateful to my makeup mentor for opening that door and sharing insider knowledge that helped me thrive in that space. From working with her I’ve had the opportunity to work with artists like Busta Rhymes and NLE Choppa, and even earned my first IMDb credit as an additional makeup artist for a film that premiered in Regal Theaters. I have also grown connections that gets me recommend to pamper notable people such as the Mayor of Mount VVernon and cast member of Netflix’s Owning Manhattan. Each moment reinforces my passion for what I do and motivates me to keep leveling up.

What service are you best known for?
While I’ve recently graduated from the pioneer esthetician school Christine Valmy International School where I trained in facials, waxing, and body contouring I’ve become especially known for my makeup application skills. Whether it’s a natural glow or full glam my makeup skills keep clients coming back and recommending me to others.

What are your go to tools? And why?
My go to tools for makeup application are my Real Technique makeup brushes. They’ve been with me since the beginning of my journey, and I remain loyal to them because they consistently deliver that smooth, flawless finish my clients love. While I occasionally mix in a brush or two from other brands, Real Techniques is the backbone of my kit. They’re not only high-quality and reliable, but also incredibly accessible and affordable—perfect for both professionals and everyday users. I always recommend them to anyone looking to elevate their makeup game.

What’s holding you back from your next goal?
Honestly, the only thing holding me back right now is me. I can admit that procrastination is something I struggle with, and it’s been the biggest barrier between where I am and where I want to be. But I’m actively working on pushing past that, staying focused, and holding myself accountable—because I know what I’m capable of once I get out of my own way.

What would your future self say to you today?
My future self would remind me to be more consistent, to show up regularly by posting more content, and to stop procrastinating. She’d encourage me to take bold action and fully commit to everything I want to achieve because the only way to get there is by doing the work today.

What are three things on your professional bucket list?
One of my biggest dreams is to work on a television show—seeing my work on screen regularly would be such a full-circle moment. Another big goal is to be able to travel out of state or even internationally and have people there know my work and be excited to book me. That kind of recognition would be such a rewarding milestone. And finally I can’t wait to open my own med spa where I can offer clients a full, elevated experience.
